Aquele é mesmo o teaser verdadeiro? Ou é feito por algum fã? Vai ser a Infinity Ward ou a Sledgehammer Games? É que dizes no inicio que é desenvolvido por eles.. Não percebi muito bem xD

Modern Warfare 3 Cover Possibly Leaked
E3 is less than a month away, and this means leaks are sure to happen. Whether the news comes from a covert employee posting on forums or a careless developer who hits the reply all button by mistake, news about upcoming E3 games finds a way of getting out in public. Today, some images have leaked for one of the most anticipated shooters of 2011.
In a forum thread of the gaming site Electric Hydra, user Powertree posted 2 alleged logos for upcoming Call of Duty games. The first image consists of a black and white call of duty logo with “MW3″ written stylishly in green. The other image features a skull, lots of guns, and the word “elite.” Powertree mentioned that he had “no idea” what elite is referring to. Elite could possibly refer to Activison’s Project Beachhead, which Activsion Publishing CEO, Eric Hirshberg, described as:

Today, Kotaku managed to get an image of the Modern Warfare 3 cover art. The cover art features the same stylish green logo as the image released by Powertree. Activision has not commented on the authenticity of these released images.

Sources tell Kotaku that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will have as many as 20 multiplayer maps, though it's unclear if some will be cut before release or perhaps sold later as expansion packs. The game will also include a powerful mix of mission-based and survival Special Ops modes. While the mission-based levels will be designed like the ones made popular in Modern Warfare 2, we're told, the survival maps will have players fighting until they're overcome by increasingly difficult waves of enemies.
While we haven't seen the game in action ourselves, we believe that the imagery is accurate. That doesn't mean things can't change before release.
We've contacted Activision for comment and will update the story when and if they provide reaction.

O Kotaku conseguiu obter imensas informações sobre Modern Warfare 3, incluindo a história completa do jogo.
Para começar, é revelada a data de lançamento do jogo, que segundo as fontes do site, será a 8 de Novembro de 2011.
Modern Warfare 3 é fruto de uma colaboração entre três estúdios (Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games e Raven Software) e promete remodelar a franquia Call of Duty em todos os aspectos.
Em termos de história, o jogo tem início logo após o final de Modern Warfare 2, com os Estados Unidos a sofrer um ataque surpresa por parte da Rússia. Na campanha single-player controlaremos algumas das forças especiais mais conhecidas e visitaremos cidades de todo o mundo .
A campanha será constituída por 15 missões diferentes, começando a primeira em Nova Iorque. A última decorrerá no Dubai.
Modern Warfare 3 responderá às perguntas que foram deixadas por responder nos dois primeiros jogos. Caras conhecidas retornarão neste terceiro título, mas podem contar também com novas personagens. Algumas destas novas personagens parecem estar destinadas a futuros títulos Modern Warfare, como é o caso dos operativos "Frost" e "Sandman".
O multiplayer terá uma boa quantidade de mapas e haverão dois tipos de modos "Spec Ops": "Survival" e "Mission".
