What it is:
Minecraft is a game about placing blocks while running from skeletons. Or something like that..
The game is a lot like that, but also has enemies and cave exploring and mining and farming and flowing water and dynamic lighting and a huge (huge) randomly generated world map. AND it has music by C418!
News:
Minecraft is still in alpha, but is rapidly nearing beta. I've only got one more feature to add; multiplayer support.
I'm renaming the old version of the game "Minecraft Classic", and will be slowly phasing it out.
I won't remove it, though. Just hide it.

The main branch of the game is currently called "Minecraft Alpha", and is under heavy development. It can be a bit unstable at times, so don't get too attached to your save files yet.

Ok andei a tentar perceber porque este jogo tinha tantos jogadores registados, 1451815 registered e com as minhas searchs acabei por me registar e achar graça ao jogo.





Uma coisa tão simples pode ser viciante, isto mostra que uma ideia simples e um game design simples pode ter um sucesso muito grande.

How to play minecraft alpha 1.1.2_1 free and join a server.
1. Download Minecraft.Alpha.1.1.21

2. Install tunggle.
http://www.tunngle.net/
3.Register on tunngle.
4. Go to appdata (start-run-%appdata%).
5. Extract .minecraft into appdata.
6. Extract .minecraft server into appdata.(if you want to host a server)
7. Go to .minecraft folder and run minecraft_name.jar
8. Enter your username
9. Join the server you like!

This also works if you want to play offline, just skip the tunggle part.

If you want to host a server just go to .minecraft server - bin and run minecraft_server.jar (if you dont have an outer ip you have to be logged to tunggle) and just send the ip to your friends.

You dont need tunggle to play offline or online but it helps you to find a "non premium" server.

If it says user not premium when you try to join a server that means you are joining a logg in protected server.
