With a new game in Black Ops just round the corner, many would have been glad to see the end of MW2. Not the people at My-Liga.com though who have announced a €1000 tournament in association with SteelSeries to send the game off in style!
It's not as easy as just entering to play however as this will be a semi-invite tournament. If you wish your team to participate you need to email dhaeuserer@my-liga.de and inform him of your team name, roster and any notable mentions about your team. He will then along with his staff and a few guest panel judges pick 12 teams to invite. The remaining 4 spots will be decided by a mini tournament that will be announced shortly.
The tournament will involve quite a few games over the next month with a group stage following by a playoffs with the top teams. The aim is to have the finals played the week before Black Ops comes out.
Prize breakdown1st - €400 + 4 x SteelSeries Spectrum 5XB's
2nd - €200
3rd - €100
