Too many an Xbox360 has been felled by the Red Ring plague. A tragedy in itself, yet more often than not, the corpses of the deceased are cast into a purgatory of refurbishment. They are neither living nor dead, cursed to travel endlessly between household and repair factory. In our hearts, we all know a dead console deserves a better fate than this, and Australian designer Alex Vanamois has provided a solution.

GamePro AU, this somber casket offers a dignified final resting place for the Xbox 360 console itself and a controller to keep it company. The console's material goods - cables and adapters - must be left behind in exchange for a place in the afterlife. The lid of the coffin offers a final tribute to the console's maker, in the form of a lone power button symbol.
With any luck, Vanamois' next project will be a customizable 360 tombstone to go with it.
