| Shrugging off years of mediocrity and partially descriptive subtitles, EA's newly announced Medal of Honor reboot will thrust players into a modern milieu: Afghanistan. Set for release in 2010 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the new first-person shooter follows the Tier 1 Operator, described as "a relatively unknown entity directly under the National Command Authority who takes on missions no one else can handle," and not described as an oddly militant member of ZZ Top. EA claims that real Tier 1 Operators from the US Special Operations Community have been involved since "the earliest stages of development." The publisher seems intent on throwing the gauntlet down in the modern war arena (do they still use gauntlets?), promising a "best-in-class single-player campaign" from the minds at EA Los Angeles, as well as a multiplayer component developed by the Battlefield veterans at DICE. | Boa... -_- mais um clássico a fugir ao seu título...
Este marketing é insultuoso. Pena é render-lhes meter o nome "Medal of Honor".
Competição contra o MW2? Será apenas se tiverem servidores dedicados. Se não tiver... não vai valer o esforço e irá pelo cano abaixo tal como foi antes.
Não tenho nada contra eles... pelo contrário... mas jogos que estão a aproveitar-se dos outros e a tentar inovar... copiando... retira-lhes o crédito que podiam receber. Mais valia anunciarem isto daqui a um ano... quando o pessoal não fosse associar tanto ao MW2 |

| eeee medal of honor não e do tempo da 1/2 guerra, lool o que e que os bacanos vão fazer para o Afghanistan xD?!?!?, sinceramente só joguei isso uma vez a muitos anos atrás numa lan party.

| Mais um FPS moderno que nos faça sentir uma atmosfera realista na medida do possivel não é nada mal. Life did a feature on the armed forces in Afghanistan back in 2002, and one of the individuals (codenamed "Cowboy") highlighted in several photos (via UGO) seems to match the one highlighted on the FPS cover.
EA did mention working closely with "Tier 1 Operators from the US Special Operations Community," so it seems possible that the main character could be inspired by (if not actually based on) Mr. Cowboy. We've contacted EA to get some intel on this. We'll let you know, if we haven't been taken out for yesterday's ZZ Top joke. |

Senior Creative Director at EALA, Rich Farrelly, has revealed that Medal of Honor won’t be compatible with PlayStation Move when it releases sometime this year.
Speaking with CVG, the dev said it was looked at, but the decision was made not to go for it.
“We had a look at it, but we decided that it needed to have a meaningful application for us to use it – which it didn’t this time,” said Farrelly. “We rule out anything that risks feeling like a gimmick.”
Last night, Move was announced as the proper name for the PlayStation Motion Controller after long speculation. Get details on its reveal here.
Medal of Honor, meanwhile, had a preview blowout this morning, with a new set of screens also released. The game’s due out in Q2 FY2011, sometime between July-September this year.
