| Game designer Hideo Kojima and his Kojima Productions team are hard at work on PSP title Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. According to the upcoming issue of Famitsu, here are the characters: Amanda, Huey, Chico, Strangelove, Coldman, Cécile, Miller, Paz and Gálvez. Character illustrations above. Due out in 2010, Peace Walker takes place 10 years after Metal Gear Solid 3, chronicling the rise of Outer Heaven in Costa Rico. | | Citação: | A última edição da revista japonesa Famitsu publicou aquilo que parece ser o elenco de personagens que marcarão presença em Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, o novo jogo da famosa série que chegará em exclusivo à PSP.
Segundo a revista, estão confirmados os personagens, Snake, Amanda, Huey, Chico, Strangelove, Coldman, Cecile, Miller, Paz e Gálvez.
Infelizmente a Konami não revelou mais detalhes sobre a narrativa, no entanto esclareceu que a mesma vai ser apresentada através de cenas que misturam imagens CG com ilustrações dinâmicas de Yoji Shinkawa e Ashley Wood.
Na revista foram também revelados novos detalhes sobre a jogabilidade cooperativa do jogo. Ao que tudo indica haverá dois sistemas de controlo: Co-op In e Snake In. O primeiro é activado quando dois jogadores estão a uma certa distância dos seus personagens. Neste sistema os indicadores de vida são compartilhados e podem-se trocar armas e equipamento.
O modo Snake In é activado quando os personagens estão muito próximos. Neste modo os personagens podem executar a formação serpente, que consiste em que todos os membros da equipa se agarrem uns aos outros formando uma fila indiana que será controlada apenas por um jogador, enquanto que os outros poderão fazer as mais diversas acções como disparar sobre os inimigos. |

In a recent tweet of Hideo Kojima, he said that all preparations and localizations are complete for the upcoming Metal Gear for the PSP. The next project in their mind will have to wait as they have to focus on the the finishing touches of the game. I guess Snake is all set for another epic adventure on the PSP.
